All the different colors of caladiums. Yeah this might be my favorite shade garden since I've been here.

Caladiums: patchy red center that transitions to white then patch green at the edge of the leaves
These caladiums remind me of watermelons with a thin green border, red patchy center and red veins.
Best purchase this year, 6 bags of caladium bulbs with random bulbs in them.

I have a question that I am hoping my worldwide friends can answer. When one is out walking for health/exercise do people leave each other be or is there the constant need to greet each other? In southern US there seems to be a requirement to greet everyone which is disguised as being "friendly" and then comment "rude" if not replied to.

@mouthpiece ok thx. I'm from northe east are (kinda) and we just leave people be unless there is problem. I lived in the Midwest for a bit and at least people didnt feel the need to comment, they just kept going. In the south I've got boomer clucking hens saying "I said GOOD MORNING!". Yeah... nooo I'm not the one sweetie

@rLok I give nods. But I've also learmed that sometimes it's best to not acknowledge. It's that bear in the woods thing. Experience has shown me to take the bear over some people any day.

I got ambitious this morning. Watered the plants early, took out the trash, then into the kitchen. Made Egg muffins for this weeks breakfast. Then Chopped veggies, some got frozen, some went to Tabbouleh which is chilling and mingling flavors in the fridge. Got infused water chilling bc it's freaking hot. Decided I needed a smidge of beef in this weeks menu so I am making burgers to be topped with pimento cheese and apple bacon jam. This is a recreation of a recipe at one of my fav resturants.

I'd say the caladiums filled in nicely! I actually had to move some plants bc they were getting too much shade🤦🏻‍♀️

The other side of the garden. The peace lilies are blooming like mad and the neighboring units/building can barely be seen. Thankfully imma genius at privacy planting!
The main containers in all their glory. Yes these are all containers. The view to the street and easement between buildings can't be seen. No peepers can peep here.

@bunnytown I got bulbs this year that they are monsterous. I will never buy potted bulbs/plants again, just bulbs. I love the different colors on the leaves.
