I had to walk to work ( car related).
I was able to look at spring in the park, in gardens, along the sides of the roads.... Flowers everywhere, only a tiny portion of which I have been seeing as I drive back and forth.
Driving has become the necessity, for me because of items that need to be carried back and forth. But it's a detachment from the natural world. ( Yes, this is another #CarlJung matter, being a part of the natural world) So: accidental #namjooning#spring#flowers#blossom
#art ahead of #inktober - which I'm going to try & do - I thought I'd do one #3D pic, so I picked this Weverse photo. Once one starts, the variety of shades of blue & white become more and more apparent, it's actually quite a complex image.
I read that in an interview JK said he was attracted to blue & white now.
Anyway, my pic is drying now... (1/2)
We went out today #Sunday partly because it might be the last Sunday of fine #ukweather this year, a chance to walk in 🌞 however it was a bit too hot for walking for me. We went to #Sissinghurst which is called a #castle but isn't actually one. It's got a more complicated #history than I realised, but is well known as home of #vitasackvillewest so fits with our other #garden#art#literature walks this summer.
Alot of the planting was over: it's definitely #autumn the hedgerows were full of berries, nuts and wild hops. But the #dahalia border in the formal #garden was incredible ( and difficult to photograph without other people getting in the way) I would have written that all in caps lock if on laptop. It was super colourful & a good #namjooning day 💜🌺🌻
