Unfortunately that answer just leads to punishing all due to some people.

Even if we could change the benifit system to value the position of the parents whe they choose to have children.

You would still be punishing the children for the actions of an adult.

And ignoring the fact that your policy basically forces abortion on anyone who accidentally gets pregnant.

I hate to bring of the pro life pro choice debate. But when you start pro forced abortion I think pretty much everyside is going to respond negatively.

Simple fact is. Birth control is not perfect. And abstinence even less so. And using finances to force anyone in poverty to abortion when they accidentally get pregnant. Or to force all poor married couples into abstinence. Is morally way worse then the idea of supporting the children.

And unfortunately. Anytime you try to value welfare on the right or wrong of having children. Those are the choices you are making.

I’ll also add. Its far far from an old fashioned idea. The very possibility for people to avoid children is an extreamly modern one. Pre the 1960s it was impossible. And morally shunned for married couples to avoid children. And the idea that birth control was widely effective and available. Did not really hit until the 1980s.

Heck even as recent as the 2000 doctors failed to warn patients on birth control of medicines that can cause it to fail.

Not to mention the many many health reasons (for women) why some couples still need to choose less effective methods.

The only truly effective method with limited health. Involves males choosing a permanent solution. (Yes it is permanent. You have a max of 10 years for reversal. And even then odds are far from 100%. )

Hell of a choice to ask a young couple to make. If they are to poor to have children now.

Yep you can have the laws.

By keeping them precise in what they allow police to apply.

When the gov use terms like nuisance. It is intentionally verge.

If its about aggressive begging or homelessness. Define it as such. Don’t intentionally leave it to a stressed officer to decide.

Yep lots of the right wing in the world. Assume they are the only nation with immigration restrictions.

It seems to be a natural assumption from the its us against the world attitude.

The big difference here. Someone who has held the highest position in the US. Still believes he has no legal limits when it comes to his actions on US citizens.

And is attempting to get voted in on promises based on that idea.

“If the president dose it. Its not illegal”

HumanPenguin,
@HumanPenguin@feddit.uk avatar

There pretty screwed then.

As much of the stuff is in pit rivers Oxford. IE outside the m25.

And that is likely the why. Much of the stuff was taken by guys like pitt rivers. Who built a lot of family wealth on the campaigns. And the government is still protecting there interests.

Given a desire for a vonc and to force an election. When it comes to tory mps stepping down at the next election. I doubt labour will reject any atm. As reducing tory support in such a vote. Would be a priority.

1 They damaged a case. Not thee document.

2 King Henry did more to damage any actual democracy it ever stood for. Then there actions did.

3 if you are you suggesting their is anything democratic about how our current government runs. You need to find a new dealer.

Do not live in London. So never come accross these stops.

But as I use a white stick. I really don’t see an issue. Cyclists can be awful when looking out for visually impaired. But it seems the bus stop would likely force a slow down and expectation of passengers.

Little nieve to think evan an instant fix to climate change. Will instantly stop the desire for immigration.

World economics has been negative towards the global south for 100s of years now.

The effects of climate change are at best very recent.

I mean I am in no way disagreeing its a priority. But it will not fix this issue without some huge changes in world finance.

It could be inherited from a common ancestor.

Or it could just have likely evolved multiple times in different primate branches.

As we have absolutely no way to document how early it first happened in our own branch. To assume it is linked is just more attempts to try and indicate the human branch is special. Use of tools has been seen in many many branches. We don’t assume that came from a joint ancestor that crawled out of the water. Or before.

Eggs are some of the most versatile foods to cook. They are used all over the place. As many have suggested.

But. Yeah it is very unlikely you will find anyone selling one. As almost everyone expects to buy in multiples of 6. There is not the demand for shops to open a box.

Your best bet is to talk to a few niebours. Odds are one of them is happy to sell you an egg if you explain why.

And you never know. You may make a local friend interested in cooking.

Yeah but during GE run up. Farrage will agree not to run in seats where tories stand a chance.

His purpose here is to run where right tory supporters are turning against tories. Preventing them from giving labour a clear win.

Sorta why the FSF was formed.

Because thses lucences working effects folks other then yourself.

So best for all OS developers and users to work together.

Is it anymore the case with other licences though.

Obscurity is no security at all. If you have no ability to fight to keep tour copy right or patient. People will copy it open or closed.

Even direct machine code can be copied a reverse engineered fairly simply.

So non of this is purely a open source permissive licence issue. Its a big corperations acting like fudal lords issue.

HumanPenguin,
@HumanPenguin@feddit.uk avatar

You can copy binary code. Just as easy as source code.

It is only when running on a different architecture it gets a bit more complex.

And give the binary is directly translatable by software. Not hugely more complex for any company of the size you are unwilling to fight in court over open source code.

Sorry but no you are wrong. Hading the source in no way makes code harder to copy. Its how most of us hacked into games in the 1990s.

After all binary code is just simpler instruction set that takes very very minimal effort to convert into assembly language. And can be read by many even without that effort.

Its hardly a secret encrypted format. (Unless you are also designing your own hardware and not letting anyone see that. )

If the failed. Then the home iffice thinks it is safe for them to go home.

So why the hell are they wasting a freaking fortune sending them to Rwanda when. A flight home is cheaper. And dosent involve bribing rwanda to take them.

Or rewritting laws to claim rwanda is safe.

If it is not safe to send them home. The. The home office is openly lieing about them being failed asylum seekers.

And breakibg international law whe. They claim they entered illegally.

So why the fuck is the media letting them ger away with these bullshit claims.

HumanPenguin,
@HumanPenguin@feddit.uk avatar

To claim asylum requires the person to ID there home and a reason they will be in danger.

So if he refused he was never an asylum seeker. So would have been cLled an illegal immigrant. Not exactly a title our gov avoids using.

If they refuse. Then buy law you area valud asylum seeker. Because if your home nation refuses to take you. You are proven not safe their. By international law.

So he is not failed and the UK is breaking international law. As is his home nation.

You forgot to add the £150k cost the UK pays Rwanda for each accepted deportation.

HumanPenguin,
@HumanPenguin@feddit.uk avatar

Agree. In principal.

But wonder if not accepted last year if a valid point.

Most folks do not have election every year. It is much more likely thos os the first time these folks have tried to vote.

But yeah. Voter ID is just a failed way to fix a problem that never existed. By reducing the ability for certain membews of the population to express a vote.

HumanPenguin,
@HumanPenguin@feddit.uk avatar

For us old folks. Cars used to have mirrors mounted to the front bonnet. About half way down.

As those mirrors would puncher and sometimes kill people hit. They were banned at some 0oint in the 80s.

Sp even cars a cidently designed in a way that is unsafe. Are banned from production. And that is in the US as well.

HumanPenguin,
@HumanPenguin@feddit.uk avatar

More to the point. Pip is specifically designed to measure your indevidual ability to cope. Clear.y based on there attempt to ignore it.

He recently compared rejected results not to 2010 saying there is no way such a high % can pass now but not them.

Well that because the courts kept telling them they were breaking g the law whe they rejected folks around 2010.

HumanPenguin,

Easy for every one to try and claim irs a new party. With different goals.

Likely the party will pull together to gide their disagreements. At least untill the election finishes.

HumanPenguin,
@HumanPenguin@feddit.uk avatar

Next day news. Labour supporters invent time travel. To abuse Jewish eating bacon.

You just can’t trust the motives of the left wing elite.

HumanPenguin,
@HumanPenguin@feddit.uk avatar

You tory MP tries desperately to keep job.

Come on. The tories have been screwing the NHS for 14 years. And behaving like unassahamed theives through covid. Scamming funding to basically keep the NHS alive through the pandemic.

How the hell is it suddenly worth leaving the party. Only when an MP is sure they will lose. Then joining the party most likely to win.

Sorry the idea this is an idealistic move, is flying from the rear of a male bovine.
