My friend who is leaving is only taking as much green as he's allowed to take on the plane. So he's leaving the rest to me. He says he has quite a bit, so we'll see. Either way I score.

I’m trying to get some first aid information in case I’m ever home alone with someone who needs help, but this book is making it very hard because Captain obvious keeps appearing. Did you know that cardiac arrest is life-threatening?

InsaneAtheist,

@ratking @evilcookies98 I'm betting they probably will be. The reason they have to write this shit even though it seems obvious to us is because someone has probably already done it. You know that hole don't use a toaster next to a bathtub thing? Yeah. That's because somebody probably already did it.

Predictive text game again. This one is a little harder. It has two blanks. The blanks will be represented by a group of underscores. The prompt is Bob Barker received a lifetime ban from _____ for _____
What you come up with might look like this. Bob Barker received a lifetime ban from the club for being a part of a group of people who have a lot of money

InsaneAtheist,

@evilcookies98 queue the match game think music.

InsaneAtheist,

@evilcookies98 can you use a crusty bread recipe? I have two, and I only need one.

InsaneAtheist,

@evilcookies98 OK it's on its way to you.

For all of the blind people who just lost access to the Sonos app, and everyone else who’s accessibility done gone away, I dedicate The Accessibility Blues.

InsaneAtheist,

@bryansmart I was able to update my system today. The app scenes fine to me. It's just a whole different layout that you have to learn. But from what I can tell it's doable if your patient.

If the enemy I just fought in the dark tower is any indication, we actually don’t talk about Bruno. We stab him with a sword.

InsaneAtheist,

@evilcookies98 do you have a tagteam partner right now? If you don't, I volunteer. I ranked up on three today. So I have the title of Sergeant now.

InsaneAtheist,

@evilcookies98 well maybe it's time to ditch them? Just a suggestion. Anyways offer still stands no matter what you decide. I lost my current tag team partner yesterday because she's going through a bunch of shit in her life and she doesn't have time to play very much. So she thought it would be more fair to me if she broke it off.

Finally at a place where I can sort of? Start planning my summer adventures. It appears Phoenix and I will be in Minneapolis around the second week of June, Minneapolis people! Was looking at flights to Toronto and holy shitballs I'm not that rich sorry Canadians!

InsaneAtheist,

@Pawpower what about flying to Buffalo and catching the bus to Toronto? I know megabus goes to Buffalo because I've gone over there and met someone coming to visit me and brought them back over here.

InsaneAtheist,

@Pawpower the fair I paid on megabus was ridiculously cheap. If I had gone with greyhound, it probably would have cost me double what I paid. But greyhound doesn't come to Canada anymore.

InsaneAtheist,

@bmoore123 @Pawpower v I would imagine it still does because there's pretty much no other way across the border by Bus. At least not at that crossing.

This book synopsis has me worried. I like the series, and I like these characters. Read this and tell me what you think it means for my emotions when I get to read this.

“Tough-but-tender cop Lindsay Boxer” (People ) leads the Women’s Murder Club in the high-profile murder investigation of a billionaire San Francisco couple. As enemies lurk in the shadows, will Cindy, Claire, Yuki, and Lindsay still be standing when the clock strikes midnight?

SFPD Sergeant Lindsay Boxer, Medical Examiner Claire Washburn, Assistant District Attorney Yuki Castellano, and crime writer Cindy Thomas gather at one of San Francisco’s finest restaurants to celebrate exciting news: Cindy is getting married. Before they can raise their glasses, there’s a disturbance in the restaurant. A woman has been assaulted. Claire examines the victim. Lindsay makes an arrest. Yuki takes the case. Cindy covers it. The legal strategy is complicated by gaps in the plaintiff’s memory—and the shocking reason behind her ever-changing testimony. As Yuki leads the prosecution, Lindsay chases down a high-society killer whose target practice may leave the Women’s Murder Club short a bridesmaid … or two.

InsaneAtheist,

@evilcookies98 I've read that series. All those books are good. I could give you a major spoiler, but... I won't.

InsaneAtheist,

@evilcookies98 Oh ok. Nevermind then. I thought you were just starting the series. Pardon my dumbassishness.

quick question for my IPhone friends out there. looking at upgrading my IPhone 11 to a 15 plus. I don't have, or use a mac. is there a simple way I can copy what is on my IPhone 11 to my IPhone 15 with everythig configured, and such? I haven't used ITunes on windows in so long, I wouldn't even remember what to do. lol. it would be nice if I could just touch the phones together or something.

InsaneAtheist,

@JamminJerry you could just back up everything into iCloud. Sign into your iTunes account with your new phone and then do restore from back up.

OK, somebody take the game away from me so I will go to bed and be up at a reasonable hour. Some of us have radio shows in a little less than 14 hours.

InsaneAtheist,

@evilcookies98 Perhaps people might enjoy hearing a sleep deprived version of you on your show. Give the people what they want, I say.

I would like to clarify something, because lots of new followers, and I don't want anyone to think I just throw hate around blindly.

I have no problem with Christians. Save for the extreme leaning ones who feel the need to treat people like shit then say it's in the service of their God, I really don't have a problem.

I got friends who go to church a few times a week, and generally speaking, they are some of the nicest people I know.

My problem is when people use their religion to excuse shitty behavior.

It's not even just a trans issue to me, but a human one. No one has the right to shame another for what they decide to do or not to do with their body, either because it's something they want, or something that could save their life. This applies to abortion, gender transition, and really anything else.

I respect people's opinions and views, even those I don't agree with or wanna run screaming from in fear, but I do have a problem with the toxic approach to expressing their opinions some resort to.

I grew up in a family where my queerness was shunned. On the surface it was because "you're orientation isn't natural," "boys can't be girls," and so on. The result was years and years of lots of horible choices on my part to try to bury the fact that I hated myself and my body.

Toxic religion was the excuse for a lot of it, this from people who hadn't stepped foot in a church since before I was born. It was just a matter of convenience that they leaned into that because who and what I am made them uncomfortable.

As a result, I get so beyond fucking pissed any time I hear of shit like with what happened to my friend, or of the 12 year old girl who got abused by a family member and now has to carry a kid to term that could possibly kill her or utterly destroy her life or her feelings on having more kids in the future.

I respect the beliefs of others, but I do ask that those who believe should aslo respect those of us who don't align to such things. You can't run around and talk about religious freedoms if you're not willing to talk about those who don't agree with your ideology on principle. You can't lean into god for your justification for treating or subjecting people to hell and expect to walk away in grace about it all.

So yeah, I have no problem with my friends and even some family that have higher religious beliefs.

My problem is policing of any kind and the belief that one's faith absolves them of any blame or harm when they express that belief toxicly.

But as I said, to clarify, I have no problem with people of faith, and largely I respect the hell out of you all. But that respect goes both ways too.

Not everyone wants or asked you to save them.

InsaneAtheist,

@LavenderPawprints when I lived in Los Angeles, I would walk down a street, and random people would come up to me and just say God bless you. I don't know if that's a Christian thing or an American thing or what. But that kind of shit just doesn't happen here. I mean OK one in 1000 or something like that. But when I was in LA it was way higher. I grew to deeply resent it. That and random people walking up to me and asking if they could pray that I would get my eyesight back.

SapphireRose91, to random

@evilcookies98 LOL? You and I have one of the same life goals! I love it!

InsaneAtheist,

@SapphireRose91 @evilcookies98 my big life goal was to be on prices right when Bob Barker was hosting it. I still would like to be on it, but, Drew is just not Bob. I've never really been a big fan of how he hosts.

InsaneAtheist,

@SapphireRose91 @evilcookies98 he doesn't take his time with the contestants IMO. It's like he's just in a mad rush to get the show moving along without it looking obvious that that's what he's doing.

InsaneAtheist,

@SapphireRose91 @evilcookies98 it must be tough when you're in a put up and shut up environment like that.

InsaneAtheist,

@evilcookies98 @SapphireRose91 I'm way too much of a dumbass to get on Jeopardy. Price is right or family feud or card sharks or maybe on a good day sale of the century would be more my league.

InsaneAtheist,

@evilcookies98 @SapphireRose91 Oh hell yeah. Password or pyramid. Bring those on too!

InsaneAtheist,

@SapphireRose91 @evilcookies98 Yeah match game would be fun too. Just put the words pissing, boobs, or penis into most of those blanks and you'd be pretty much all set.
