Finally at a place where I can sort of? Start planning my summer adventures. It appears Phoenix and I will be in Minneapolis around the second week of June, Minneapolis people! Was looking at flights to Toronto and holy shitballs I'm not that rich sorry Canadians!
@Pawpower too bad. would have been fun. well, we will jsut have to come there. I have never been there and I think it would be a really neat place to visit.
@Pawpower the fair I paid on megabus was ridiculously cheap. If I had gone with greyhound, it probably would have cost me double what I paid. But greyhound doesn't come to Canada anymore.
@munchkinbear@InsaneAtheist@Pawpower they did that during covid. there are still a couple of routes but not even sure where you get them if they still exist. I think they sub contract them out.
@Pawpower what about flying to Buffalo and catching the bus to Toronto? I know megabus goes to Buffalo because I've gone over there and met someone coming to visit me and brought them back over here.
@InsaneAtheist Oh hey, that is a really great idea about megabus! I am definitely going to check that out! Because flights to Buffalo are much more reasonable, we are talking like 100s of dollars cheaper
@InsaneAtheist@Pawpower yeah, there is. megabus, I think that flix bus or whatever goes across the border. been a while since I took a bus to the US. think the last time was 2019
@bmoore123@InsaneAtheist This is Flixbus but they're contracted through Greyhound? It's weird. Brian, any advice for good Toronto hotels? Phoenix needs grass because she's from the swamp and dogs don't pee on concrete here because... swamp
@Pawpower@InsaneAtheist sure we can find one. there is here. not right downtown but transit outside the door and the rate can't be beat. Will see what other options there are.
