Ohana: Dublin's "only" bar. Well maybe let's move those quotes -- Dublin's only "tiki" bar. It was not a good experience. They have some basic tiki decor and boast a large list of rums available. But it was just another club with a few semi-tiki inspired drinks. Watching them not be able to identify a standard bottle of rum sitting on their shelf, which I practically had to beg them to use... well, it was rough. We finished our drinks and left it to the hen party. Not recommended.

We eventually found a hotel in Dublin that wasn't $600/night (although it wasn't cheap). But holy crap, it's right next to Trinity College.
And our room has a balcony that looks out down O'Connell street

    With Alexandria Hyundai, I went from calling them to confirm if they had a particular model/color in the lot (they had just received it that day) to signing the lease and driving it home in the span of maybe 5 hours. But I had also been waiting for that same model/color with College Park Hyundai for weeks...

    Glad you finally (or will finally) get the car!

    Got to Dulles a full 4 hours early so we wouldn't be waiting in lines and could instead just chill out at the Turkish Airlines lounge.
    Eating some tasty food, drinking a Cosmo, and watching the planes through the giant windows. ❤️

    Next weekend I hope to have my first backpacking experience.

    I found a small state park with nice trails and a "backpacking campsite" about 2.5 miles and 200ft of elevation from the main campground. The site has vault toilets and is stocked with firewood and a ring.

    I took Mon off and I plan to do hikes in 2 to 3 hour chunks. One night at the backpack site and I night at the proper campground with toilets and showers. Total hikes would be 10 miles and approx 1,000 ft of elevation.
