I've been watching Time Team again. Desire to find an arrowhead growing. I'd love to do a dig one day. A few years ago there was a public dig at or near Lindesfarne. That would have been pretty epic.
So, the Monsters of Academia played a cover of "Love Shack" by the B52s at the Stockton 1960s Concert yesterday. It was my first attempt to sing. And by sing I mean "do a Fred Schneider impression." The first time I practiced this a few months ago, I could not coordinate the various regions of my brain to get them to do the things it needed to do. We never did quite nail down the Cindy/Kate parts.

I have band practice tonight. To try to get a handle on the wild volume swings of my #guitar, I am going to be cutting out a lot of the amp presets I've been using. I plan to keep the amp mostly on a clean setting and add the textures using the stomp boxes. It's required more fiddling w/knobs on the amp than I'm used to to get it to sound right.
