Dear parents,

I know parent life is really damn hard, but that doesn’t make it OK to go back to sending your kids to school sick or bringing your sick kids with you when you go places. Remote work had really broken the job market, hasn’t it? Sure, you can apply to work anywhere… so every job instantly has 1,000+ applicants, and employers instantly reject most of them, including people who they would’ve at least given an interview years ago. If you’re not 100% perfect for the job, exactly what they’re looking for right out of the gate, you have no shot. And how many people really are 100% perfect for any job without training?
