I have migraines a lot like that too. My doctor won’t help with them so I’ve never tried prescription stuff for it, but otherwise, all the stuff people have suggested has helped me. I also have one other thing that sounds like totalll woo-woo “The Secret” style nonsense, but helps for some reason. I imagine my migraine as a jumble of tangled knots, and imagine very gently untangling them. It’s tricky because focusing too hard on it (or on anything really) just makes the migraine worse. I have to kind of do it in the lowest effort way possible. But when it works, it really really works! Almost immediately. My hypothesis is that what I’m actually doing is untensing a bunch of tense muscles in my face/neck/temples/etc that I don’t seem to have much conscious control over.

I’m like a 3 or 4 at best usually, but because I just saw this meme, I get the specific picture of an apple from 1 instead. Once that fades I’ll be back to 3 or 4 again.

Definitely take this with a huge grain of salt, but I’ve heard a little anecdotal stuff about potential unintended consequences? Mostly in the form of paradoxical increases in T as the adrenals overcompensate. But I think those tend to level out eventually? I’d love it if somebody could correct me or expound upon this.

The real question is, are you retaining the extra skin or not? I think I’d keep it, personally, just for funsies 😝

There aren’t many people making it yet. So far as I know there’s just Colorfabb AllPHA, Filaments.ca Regen, and Beyond Plastic PHA. That’s like 2 more suppliers than there were a year ago though, so I’d say it’s growing more popular?

It warps during printing pretty similarly to ABS yeah, but it has the exact opposite solution weirdly enough. You wanna turn your bed heat completely off, and have it as unenclosed as possible.

If you wanna stay in-fediverse, you could post the pics on a Pixelfed instance and use that as the host. Just post the pic there, copy the direct URL to it, put it in the URL bar in a post here and it will show up as a normal picture instead of a link. Also Pixelfed allows unlisted pics, like if it’s stuff that would clutter up your profile.

Seconded the programming.dev instance! They’ve got communities for like every kind of programming, I’m moderating a Haxe community there. Right now it’s quiet enough that I think you’d be better off sending more traffic that way than making a new community on Beehaw, but I could be wrong.

A friend of mine bought several google pixels and, the firts time they slipped from her pocket, their screen completely broke, even if they had a cover and a screen protector, and this happened with three models. I have a ~4 year old Pixel 3a, it’s got a case but no screen protector. I drop it all the time, but it’s pretty much totally fine still, at least physically. Definitely running a bit sluggish these days, but otherwise perfect. Maybe I’m just lucky? Or maybe they’ve gotten worse since?

Boyfriend Dungeon, definitely! I listen to that whole soundtrack all the time. My favorite song from it is Without a Weapon. If I remember correctly the game is mossttlllyyy pretty SFW, but not like entirely so.

I’m always a fan of modularity, so I was going to recommend one of those bit adapting torque limiters like these, but I’m not sure if anyone makes them for higher torque applications or not.

For collaborating I set us up a repo for it on Gitlab, and I’ve been trying to run the actual code through Gitpod, but I can’t get it to work… Has anyone else done this successfully?...

Working with huge chunks of formatted text?

Working on a text-based game in HaxeFlixel, and I’m wondering if there’s a best practice for dealing with the text itself. There’s a lot of it, and it’s full of newlines and quotes and such. I imagine putting it in the actual Haxe script is probably not the best way, since you’d have to use a zillion escape characters?...
