@siracusa @hotdogsladies Nice seeing you reference Blank Check! One other recommendation for both of you but especially Merlin: “Dead Eyes”. The hook is it’s an investigation, Serial style, into Tom Hanks firing the podcast host from a small role in Band of Brothers for having “dead eyes”. Unfolds into a very moving mini series about creativity and professional success and disappointment. Also, Aimee Mann is involved!

@daringfireball I think at some point in the conversation you suggested that no major iPad software updates have shipped outside of WWDC but the big exception was of course mouse cursor support (March 2020)

@ianRobinson @atpfm I too thought Fassbender was excellent as “Jobs”. He didn’t go for mimicry/accuracy (unlike Winslet) but I do think he captured at least a part of the man in his crisp, cutting line deliveries and the understated swagger/confidence.
