Gonna say I’ve been to several metal concerts and watched the pits from afar. The time I got pushed into one, and fell down, everyone was supportive getting me back up and back in the pit without injury.
What I’m saying is: pits are less concussions and black eyes than back in the day, now.
Just got access to Baldur’s Gate 3 through family share. Reminds me of Neverwinter Nights from the early 2000s, but I haven’t played a game like it since (unless you include Dragon Age).
Also getting back into Binding of Isaac and Slay the Spire.

Six months ago, I complained that thanks to Saya’s Vigil being required to unlock Venus, brand new players have now met a sentient long before Natah, which strips away some of the mystery. I used to play back in the beta and stopped shortly after >!the reveal that your frame is controlled by a teenage looking kid, and the introduction of Focus abilities !<, although that is probably super old news by now.
I’m afraid of jumping back in because my frames were “top notch” back then, and I wouldn’t even know where to go in the story to get to current stuff. I loved Limbo back then, had several Prime frames, Prime weapons, Nova was still viable to clear half the room. Good times, but I started falling asleep during missions and that’s when I knew I was oversaturated with Warframe.
Just my perspective as a old player that could be considered “new” now, I have no idea WTF is going on.
It was probably one of those morons who said “this is how my parents taught me! Hyuk hyuk” and then pushed him in.
People have tried that on me, knowing I can’t swim, and I almost got physical when they’d “pretend” to push me in the deep end. It just makes me wary around them near the pool, because I can actually fucking die if I fall in.
A local place wanted $170 per lesson, and they recommended lessons twice a week. I need to keep looking but at $340 a week that’s a bit out of my range.
Friends have tried but I’m not gonna lie, they fail because of me. I’m very scary when my feet leave the ground. Pool party? Yeah sure I’ll go, but once the water is neck level with my feet down, I’m going back shallow.
One time I was making real progress and some drunk person almost drowned, interrupting the lesson.
