‼️ Big annoucement!!!

✅ Tusky 25.0 is officialy out, in F-Droid and Play Store 🎉 🎉 🎉

These are the main updates to this new version:

➡️ Support Mastodon translation API
➡️ Show post language
➡️ Improved screen transitions
➡️ Filter settings now moved to account preferences
➡️ Post stats now have a stable position
➡️ A lot off under-the-hood stability & performance improvements.

❗ Also, #Tusky 25.0 app is smaller in size despite having more features.

@everton137 maybe your instance doesn't support translations yet. If not, check the menú that appears when you click on the three dots at the bottom right side of each toot. The translation option appears in the menu, third option.

Hi and thank you all, because with your inputs we have managed to identify more bugs in the 25.0 Beta that are going to be corrected soon

These are the new ones:

➡️ Rare racecondition crash in detail view
➡️ Bottom nav avatar is missing content description
➡️ Bug where accessibility actions on posts don't always work (still investigating this one)

Also, Tusky is affected by a minor bug, that makes buttons at the bottom showing cut off

@Tusky Hi gang. I'm assuming it's a beta problem, but I've noticed that not every toot can be translated. For example, the one I've linked to below is obviously french but the translate option doesn't appear for me. Also, some friends Dutch toots don't translate either.

Die -App scheint einen Bug zu haben. Update hat es nicht behoben. Geteilte Beiträge werden mehrfach hintereinander wiederholt gepostet. Irgendwer eine Idee, was es sein könnte?

@thomas_michl Beziehen Sie sich auf den Fehler, der in der Beta-Version von Tusky 25.0 beim Planen von Nachrichten auftritt und dazu führt, dass dieselbe Nachricht mehrmals veröffentlicht wird? Dieser Fehler wurde entdeckt und wird bald behoben sein.

Falls euch grade die X-fache Wiederholung eines meiner Beiträge die Timeline zugemüllt hat, bitte ich um Entschuldigung!

Der Scheduler in @Tusky hat mir gestern Abend einen Fehler angezeigt und ich hab's X-fach versucht. Dass der Beitrag jetzt auch X-fach gepostet werden würde war nicht abzusehen.

Die überflüssigen Posts habe ich gelöscht und das wird hoffentlich kurzfristig auf andere Instanzen weitergegeben

It has been nearly a week since we launched the Tusky 25.0 Beta. So far, we have encountered 3 issues in it:

➡️ crash when adding too many accounts

➡️ scheduling a status creates way too many

➡️ crash when upgrading from 24 with an Akkoma account

All of them are going to be solved soon. But we want to know: Have you encountered any other problem with the beta? Please tell us!
