Kevin Roberts remembers when he could get a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink from Five Guys for $10. But that was years ago. When the Virginia high school teacher recently visited the fast-food chain, the food alone without a beverage cost double that amount....
Of course, because people here hate Asians, as I have been trying to point out. Luckily your racist friends like you. Now go dig a hole please, and drop your mom in it first. You motherfucking racist barbarian baboon brain.
Well, I just spent a good 5 minutes in Lemmy and encounter nothing but white trash. I am certainly gonna go outside again, but not of your command, wanna-be-master. I’m not your fucking slave.
After two users admitted to doxxing me, and another admitted to digging through all of my past posts and comments, I decided to deleted my past posts. One user put my name, and my husband’s name into a comment box on one of my posts, and then tried to claim he hadn’t doxxed me for that information....
Please have something that is not automod ban me from your racist white ass fat boi instance! Make clear on the signup that Asians are not allowed. Thanks 🙏
Broken-English speaking Asians. I’m one of them. No go on and fuck your fat white bitch. The racist mods here will ban me soon for calling ya’ll out. Ruud is a racist too. Fuck him and his Nazi gang.
It’s not for nothing that Lemmy.World defederates from the non-racist instances. Ever thought about that?
When Bloomberg reported that Spotify would be upping the cost of its premium subscription from $9.99 to $10.99, and including 15 hours of audiobooks per month in the U.S., the change sounded like a win for songwriters and publishers. Higher subscription prices typically equate to a bump in U.S. mechanical royalties — but not...
That’s great! Not sure where you live (because shipping), but a lot of artists (I listen to) have limited physical releases on Bandcamp. Sometimes it’s worth the extra few bucks. My digital collection is bigger tho.
So I actually do spend more on musicians than only streaming services CEO people. There is of course the ecological aspect of the production of the physical releases, but I don’t drive nor eat meat. I’d buy their stuff at a concert too.
(Not OP) I have no beef with Mozilla, love Firefox.
I once accidentally bookmarked some porn instead of opening it into a new tab. It happened on mobile, it happend fast, I barely noticed. It directly synced to all my devices. Even after removing the bookmark itself, Firefox kept suggesting this “last bookmarked page” on all my devices. Annoying if you alone know about it, disastrous if you don’t know who knows about it.
Then buy similar hardware from a competitor that meets your needs. I mean, Apple was never innovative, so you surely can get something better somewhere else?
Seen a lot of posts on Lemmy with vegan-adjacent sentiments but the comments are typically very critical of vegan ideas, even when they don’t come from vegans themselves. Why is this topic in particular so polarising on the internet? Especially since unlike politics for example, it seems like people don’t really get upset by...
