Not really. I’m in Northern Ireland and my vote does fuck all to affect who’s elected UK Prime Minister. The current governing party runs candidates here but they’ve never won a seat and their closest competitors don’t run any candidates at all here. Something similar happened to me and my brother maybe 15 to 20 years ago. Our parents were in the shop and we were sat in the car waiting but the car had tinted windows in the back. Some guy gets into the car not realizing that there was anybody in it and when he does he apologizes and says that he mistook our parents car for his own as they were the same make/model or something.
The main thing I’d be concerned about is if it’s hot. I always wait in a car if someone is going into a shop or something like that as I’m lazy as fuck and can’t be arsed walking around.
Ehh, not far from the standard defense strategy of blaming a rape victim. Personally, I’d like to see victim blaming thrown out of a courtroom/law and any attorney that tries it to be at the very least reprimanded for it and at most sanctioned like fined or disbarred. Yup. I’ve ulcerative colitis and every fucking time I’ve mentioned it I inevitably get people trying to give me “advice” despite me making it clear that I don’t want or need it. Fuck, I even had one asshole tell me not to fucking take medical advice and go on a medication which I have done and it’s fucking got rid of my flare up that I’ve had since January.
I’ve had someone tell me that I shouldn’t have dairy because their wife has UC and she can’t have dairy, I have an IBD nurse that I can contact for advice and she has told me that dairy is potentially ok and I’ve been having dairy since I’ve been out of hospital for 3 weeks and it’s done nothing to me. I’ve had people tell me to eat healthier yet when having a flare up I can’t have fibre, onions, garlic, vegetables in general (unless they’re mush like) anything with seeds in it, potato skins, red meat and food high in fat. basically I’m restricted to white meat, rice and potatoes (without skin so like mash) and white breads. The only people I listen to to deal with my chronic illness is my consultant and my nurse, everyone else can fuck off.
I finished the first one only last week. I almost dropped it over the puzzles especially the finding runes in the environment one. That one broke the momentum of the narrative/plot for me as you’d be going through an area and you’ve the narration going on or you’ve just been through a big action sequence and now you’ve hit a wall until the puzzle is solved. So I’m in no rush to play this one, I did think the last third was great though and definitely less repetitive.
