It has been claimed that distance raptor ÷ time raptor = velociraptor. The problem with this claim is that, with raptor in both the dividend and divisor, it divides out entirely, leaving just velocity.
For raptor to be a factor of the resulting quotient, you want either raptor in the dividend or inverse-raptor in the divisor.

I keep coming back to Lemmings on the Game Gear. While it is missing some graphical details compared to other ports, it’s a surprisingly full featured port. And it looks gorgeous.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again: Don't punish adequacy.

Any performance evaluation system needs to have distinct values for 'meets expectations' and 'exceeds expectations', and people should not be punished because they 'merely' did everything required, rather than going above-and-beyond.

If anything less than 5/5 stars incurs punishment, then that's your baseline, and there needs to be a sixth star to highlight something exemplary.

TIL:

1. There's a version of Zero Wing on Steam.
2. It's based on the arcade version.
3. They included the intro from the Mega Drive version.
4. The intro has redrawn art and retranslated text.
5. Despite being redone, they nevertheless included some of the more infamous lines from the original translation.
6. They didn't recreate the intro music, instead playing one of the arcade tracks.

it's peculiar when you go on a website to book up something and they have "early bird" tickets (that's fine, nothing unexpected there) but then they extend the idea for some reason and offer "normal bird" tickets to people who aren't early and even "late bird" tickets for last minute and I'm all HANG ON WHY ARE WE ALL BIRDS ALL OF A SUDDEN
