    I'm probably doing things wrong with my audio viz because the whole spectrum seems inverted and I have an extra band 🤷

    3 days ago i bought the super mario rpg remake on switch. From my memories of playing it in middle school, it takes quite a while to beat the game

    And now i’m already at the second to last dungeon of the game lmao. Kid me sure didn’t know how to handle the action commands eh

    @tanzureir I haven't played the original nor the remake, but I wonder if they also made the game smoother/easier to play than on SNES.
    That's kind of the sign of a good remake, it feels like what you remember the experience being, but not as bad as it actually was.

    I have now managed to hold everything in a small enough package.
    Still lacking some supplies, but that will have to wait for next month because BUDGET.

    But it is wearable, configurable, and looks SICK

    Got it running on a raspberry pi now ✨
    But performance was reduced by more than 50% (30fps to 10/15fps)...
    I need to look closer at what's going on to see if I can fix it 🤔

    Not entirely confident about the led. The screen overlaps and we can see the ribbon cable which loses on the aesthetics...
    I could try a transparent black as a diffuser and only use the LED for emotes or reactions?

    Got my original mask to try a tinted lens.
    Without the led, we don't see the connector ✨
    The screen might be a bit dim, but this is a red tinted lens so again, not 100% representative.

    @xan I'm probably missing some context or the full meaning of your name, but here is my take.

    I don't think names can be deserved. They are a tool to your identity, and everyone who dares question that identity can fuck right off.

    As long as you are not using a name for defamation, harm, foul play, (unless it's against bigots) no problem in my book

    So if it can help, I'm sure you deserve it, but also: It's just a name 🙂
