Saying “I support the right of Jewish people to exist” is already a little weird to me since I don’t see that as questionable (guess it is for some) but it definitely sounds bad if you add a “but” on the end. That’s not as supportive as you think it is, people who keep saying it.

@feld Okay, so this is going to open up a giant can of worms regarding lolicon now, I'm sure. Transferring sexually explicit material to a minor is for sure illegal, but I'm not sure how AI-generated images (which they know are AI generated as its been admitted to) is or ought be illegal.

@feld Appears to be in a sort of legal limbo or grey area with conflicting legislation and court precedents. Unsurprising, since anything regarding first amendment stuff can be messy from a legal perspective. In my personal opinion I don't think it ought be illegal to have human-drawn or AI-generated content therein, regardless of my dislike for it and dislike towards those who are into it.

@sun Yeah, it seems like it's all fallen back onto "obscenity" laws. But, I would imagine that for something to be obscene to society it ought be public to society. Exposing yourself in public or doing sex acts in public, for example---not collecting trash on your personal computer. But, I'm not a lawmaker and I have zero power anyway, so, whatever. @feld

so apparently ukraine is requiring all ukrainians to register for the draft, even if they're overseas, and they can do it through a phone app

however, if the phone app isn't working then you have to register in person in ukraine. and now i'm hearing that the phone app no worky lol

ukraine also suspending all consular services except basically registering for the draft or returning back to ukraine from overseas

so basically i have the feeling if you go back to ukraine you'll be staying there for a while...

@lain Do you travel around to do photography? Bring a large kit with you? Just curious. I'm actively trying to get more into photography while going away from equipment. And I hate editing, so trying to just do everything IC JPEG. Traveling to China soon with just a smol little mirrorless camera with a 35mm and 28mm. I've really started to get into telephoto shots from a lot of people I admire, though. lol
