anyone know how to get around facebook’s auth wall (preferably with something like a privacy proxy)
trying to dig up information on businesses in my town for OSM and of course the majority have their only internet presence on facebook (boost if you don’t know pls)
reminder that on latest signal it is possible to, after verifying your phone number, completely disable phone number discoverability (meaning people can't contact you by phone number), enable phone number privacy (meaning people who contact you can't see your number), and just use usernames :3
i picked a great time to ditch telegram for signal. those motherfuckers are just nazis now, and are even actively doubling down on their nazi symbolism. fantastic! fuck that app!
I'm in the process of migrating from Google Workspace to Proton Mail, but I've hit a snag that might make me stick to Google. I have several email addresses for business, and yet Proton puts all emails in one inbox, which doesn't make any sense. So I'll get emails related to my writing in the same inbox as those for film, as personal emails, and as those for other work? I expected separate logins for each email.
@dilmandila you could make a folder for each one, then use a filter with the condition "If the recipient is exactly" for each of the addresses to move them into the right folder?
@dilmandila oh, then, for what you want, you should be making separate users for each separate login/inbox that you want, and not adding them all as addresses to one user
Anyways thanks to EU laws, now EU users have to pay a subscription fee and juggle a second app store on their phone to get an emulation app everyone not in the EU gets for free on the main app store
@enigmaticohttps://photopea.com is not open source but is essentially just Photoshop on the web, with PSD file support and everything, + a plugin system
@enigmatico i mean it does work while offline if you’ve ever opened it before, but yeah the other ones i agree with kinda
but since the format and ui is the same as photoshop i can always just go back to photoshop… worth it for me to use photopea since it’s so much faster
