How the hell do you get this to never pop-up again? I swear I have jumped through the hoops to make this go away. It seems like every other website on the internet has this stupid pop-up.

@Reshirams_Rad_Slam there is. The trick is, I see this in different browsers. So Google must want me to be setting a cookie in each browser and for that to work, sign in on each browser and device (including work ones) and never delete that cookie.

Like I check my google account and that check box is set the way they say it needs to be to disable the pop-ups yet I still get the pop up. So clearly there must be more to it.

It’s just a crazy thing. It looks spammy and fake, and is everywhere.

The problem with reality is that it is under no delusion that it has to be realistic.

Fiction has to have a sense of verisimilitude to get you to buy in. Reality doesn’t need this.

That’s why Trump is so unrealistic as a villain. In a fictional story it would be incredulous to accept that someone is able to get away with the things he does. It’s maddening.

This is a pretty cool video. TLDR:

  • Trump is in favor of a 16 week abortion ban. 94% happen by 13 weeks.
  • Kari Lake from AZ is in favor of a 24 week ban, less than 1% happen after 20 weeks and almost all are health related/exceptions.
  • Republican voters are not happy with either of those numbers.

Women's healthcare will play a massive role in this election and it is vital we get out and vote. We cannot let these nutjobs control healthcare.

People who believe that abortion and IVF are murder quite literally would rather have women die, or at the very least put their reproductive capabilities at risk (since some ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages, and stillbirths can damage their uterus and fallopian tubes) than let even one single abortion happen. They oppose abortion even in cases where there is no child being born and a woman could lose the ability to get pregnant in the future.

It’s horrific and should cost them.

@NBAnthony2k these horrible people would rather condemn women to suffering and cut off access to healthcare than get some kind of “sensible” regulation like allegedly Trump and Lake here are okay.

The people need to stop this madness and hopefully the Republicans will lose significantly because of this.

We could settle the issue once and for all and they could move onto the border or something equally as ridiculous as their policies for abortion.

I would support a 16 week, no questions asked abortion regulation and then instead of vaguely saying there will be exemptions for medical necessity just explicitly say that after 16 weeks, abortions need to be approved by a licensed medical professional and can be performed up to “birth” (at 36 weeks a child is pre-term but very capable of surviving). The only reason a “late term abortion” is happening is that the fetus is dead or dying anyway. Let them happen to save lives.

Yeah it’s all coming together. Microsoft’s going all in on gamepass, selling their games on every platform possible plus streaming. Xbox is going to just be a prebuilt pc part of Microsoft’s computer hardware line.

    @Slyence either way, gamers for the price of an indie game per month get a big catalog of games with new releases every month, developers get a dedicated and consistent income stream leading to far more stability there, and Microsoft gets to achieve their goal of being a super profitable and industry leading game publisher.
