I think Angular users may even be worse than React users, on the whole, for using the wrong markup for stuff. Looking at a page with background images on <div>s instead of, well, images and a form made out of <li> and <a> elements with button roles instead of checkboxes and radios. Oh and not even in a <form> element, just a <div>.

@heydon yup, that's a problem that's easy to miss (and hard to correct)... also there's a new control-flow feature which moves them further away from HTML syntax 🙈 https://angular.io/guide/control_flow

if you have to wrap stuff but don't want the unnecessary div, just use a fragment... so it dissolves away: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/DocumentFragment#usage_notes

Someone from bsky mentioned he doesn’t show peoples’ avatars and just uses this library for identicons. It looks amazing! I will use this too for rendering webmentions in my blog. https://github.com/laurentpayot/minidenticons
