Been doing this poll once a year. For those who've started working from home since pandemic, would you prefer to go back to office, continue from home always or a flexible home/office schedule?

@djlink my place of employment currently does a hybrid week where we get 2 days to WFH and 3 days to be in the office. It’s fine and all, but I wish it had more flexibility. I’d like to be able to WFH more when we’re not very busy, and be able to come in more when we are busy (rather than only being able to do so on specific, scheduled days).

For context I am a graphic designer so the amount of work we have comes in waves.

what are good programs for brainstorm/dumping of ideas, like random text, images, etc for when doing research? something simple, doesn't need to be too fancy. something like Obsidian maybe? any other suggestions?

Whenever I’m stuck in traffic, I like to think about how I could solve the problems because of how much Mini Motorways I play.

Just move this stoplight, turn this into a roundabout, and so on.

@ChanceHMiller there’s a specific stoplight on my drive home that always makes me think of Mini Motorways too— it’s sole purpose is to let people out of a business parking lot 😅

@djlink I’ve only ever played Bioshock, and while it’s good… I’m watching my husband go through mass effect so I gotta go for that one 😌

At the risk of… internet wrath? …I don’t understand the situation with Unity. I’m very new to the program, but I really like it and I’m not sure what the issue is with them deciding to charge a fee for it… although I do understand that this effects essentially only indie developers, which of course, sucks, and is a good way to alienate them (clearly).

Please educate me, preferably with more reasons than “I don’t want to give them my money” 😬 thanks and please be kind— I’m really not trying to troll or be a jerk, I just honestly don’t get it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@jaxter184 I’ve heard a lot about Godot even before all this and I’m certainly considering giving it a try!
