Cloudflare Turnstile is the worst kind of CAPTCHA. It doesn't have any interactive elements at all, and is completely opaque to the end user. You can enable its completion indicator, but barely anyone using it does. This sucks, because it results in frustrating experience where you fail some invisible CAPTCHA that you weren't aware of in the first place.
normalise hating on the direction windows is heading, but rejecting the idea of switching to linux because it's missing crucial desktop software and provides a pretty bad user experience in comparison
you, linux user, nudging me to switch to linux, making fun of and completely dismissing my workflow and experience, is not doing linux market any favour. guess what! I used linux for several years, I know it's strengths and weaknesses, yet I use windows right now. maybe think it through?
minecraft is 50% off! this includes gifts! you can now buy it for just $15. if you have the game, but also have a friend who has to pirate it, it's an amazing opportunity to make their day :)
Pavel ‘I platform nazis’ Durov should actually shut up about Signal, because unlike the former, his Telegram doesn't even try to do any sort of end-to-end encryption and no one is using Telegram's secret chats because how unreliable they are. I'm also yet to see the actual reviews of his bespoke encryption protocol, which has been criticised and already had several vulnerabilities.
Awh, sad to hear that EU is closing their Mastodon and PeerTube instances, the latter I could understand — hosting vids is expensive, but Mastodon, their fediverse presence. It shown the best thing about OSS like Mastodon, like full sovereignty, but alas :(
