Converse has some pretty sweet customization options for their pride shoes. One thing I thought was funny though is you can add text on the back that says “Proud to be _” but you only get 6 characters so “lesbian” doesn’t fit lmao. I’ve seen several tech/phone ads lately where the problem space is, “Make my vacation photos funnier” or “Help me buy more stuff”

The tech that impacts my life the most is like the app that reminds me to take my meds with increasingly aggressive reminders when I forget multiple times. It’s not fun or sexy but it helps me stay alive

@laydros I just use the built in medication reminders in Apple Health. I get one of those watch vibrates, every device I own makes a noise, etc announcements at least once a day

@mattdm haha that is hilarious. I definitely know which side of the bed I want to sleep on but it’s different depending on the room somehow. I have no idea what the logic is yet, but I get that need to feel comfortable and feeling like you’re on the wrong side of the bed is jarring

I decided an accommodation I need to make for myself is to get a robot vacuum. Sometimes I really struggle to take care of myself and when the floor gets dirty it can stop me from taking care of other tasks. When my apartment is dirty I often internalize that and it makes me feel like a failure which further contributes to the downward spiral of not being able to take care of myself. I need help so I’m allowing myself to get help
