darkstar,

This is amazing! May I please copy your system? :')

I figured out how to make IPTV as easy as using Netflix so you dont have to (lemmy.myserv.one)

Disclaimer: Obviously this is for educational purposes only. I would personally never use my internet connection for anything illegal at all. I simply tested the below setup then deleted everything out of pure interest to understand how things worked and do not use any IPTV service. I love paying Netflix and other streaming...

darkstar,

Bookmarked too! Will definitely try this at a later stage, and see if I can get it working for my parents as well

darkstar,

Looking for Alaska. Its not really my type of read, but I was recommended it a few times and I was hooked immediately

darkstar,

I will not touch this game because I know myself too well

darkstar,

Yeah it’s pretty crap right now unfortunately. I’ll be waiting at least 3 more years before I give it another try

darkstar,

A short hike is so good! And it’s not a very long game, so it’s a small commitment but so worth it

darkstar,

Out of those 2 options, I’d choose Voyager

Wot The Fsck You Say, Spotify? (lemmy.world)

Edit: A couple times I’ve said eBook while I actually meant Audiobook. I’ve learned that Spotify has a 15 hour limit per month for their free ‘included in premium’ audiobooks. However these are the two books I listened to for free, and even rounding up to 13 hours it doesn’t make sense, unless they count accidental...

darkstar,

+1 from me for ReadEra as well, great app.

Any othet alternative to telegram that is more open sourced , privacy ,security focused is available in fdroid etc.

Wanted to know if there are any other android apps with features like telegram such as sending ,recieving big files creating channels etc. Using a bot or channel in telegram to pirate movies and series are infinitely easier than torrenting . But as telegram is not fully open source and requires a phone number to create an...

darkstar,

Dude go figure it out yourself, they’ve given you more than enough to get started. Stop asking people to hold your hand

darkstar,

Please leave this conversation, because you’re probably the only user who goes over 100 tabs. Normal people have about 10 open just for your reference

darkstar,

I doubt it. Normies love chrome, and the majority of normies don’t even know about ad blockers. Chrome will continue unfortunately

darkstar,

Nope, I use Firefox

darkstar,

This is so true. I feel personally responsible

darkstar,

Sorry, ideas are not worth anything unfortunately

darkstar,

Using Chrome and uBlock for work, no issues.

Firefox and uBlock for personal, no issues.

Try only using uBlock, uninstall all other extensions. Works great for me on both Firefox and Chrome.

darkstar,

I don’t see this option?

darkstar,

I don’t see to have this option. Curious…

darkstar,

I have both iPhone and Android, I don’t see it on either? I got my versions directly from each app Store not sure if that counts

darkstar,

Same for me. Won’t use with a workaround, this should be fixed

darkstar,

Hey thank you for the response!

Ahh that makes perfect sense, completely understand. Maybe making and linking a short guide at the bottom of the page would be helpful? Something to say “Not Seeing Anything?” And then it links to like a paragraph or two explaining why.

Just a thought for not so bright users like myself :s

darkstar,

You’re clearly missing the point and the reason why people are upset with your comments.

They are referencing PS2 games which were slower paced. Low frame rate was not noticable as the game was slower paced. Modern games are mostly higher paced now specifically shooters and so low fps is much more noticable than on slower paced games.

30fps is more than enough for most games. Indie, strategy, puzzle, etc.

Some games it’s not enough, most games it’s fine.
