Just + - 1 would do. Want it for both soil and food, like pickling stuff. Would use strips for the latter which is going to be the more immediate need.

Thanks, all. With any luck, this desire to do this project will pass , as it has in the past, and won't need any of these things. If it doesn't pass and I actually do anything, there's probably bottles of hot sauce in it for all of you.

The soil tests are less of an issue now that there is large storage of acidic rainwater to balance with the alkaline groundwater.
