My son asked for a little web dev challenge, so I tasked him with filtering a list with a few selects.
First of all: he solved it! 🥳
But when I looked at the code, I noticed that he had used HTML data attributes and was accessing them in JS via the dataset property. When I asked him about it, he replied: “Yes, I read that in a post by @chriscoyier on CSS-Tricks.” 🤘😁
If I have files in Google Drive for Organizations is there ANY way to get them to a private Google Drive? I do not want to pay any longer for the organization account, and I want my data.
Uhh why is the Pastel icon on the App Store on visionOS gray? wtf?
I saw this in App Store Connect but assumed it's gotta be a bug. The icon appears in Xcode and on-device properly, it's just like the Back layer has been color-shifted.
Tiny kids go crazy for this type of app. But every time someone makes one, they squeeze all the money juice out of it and then toddlers are starting purchase flows and watching ads... some day I'll make a set of free basic apps like this.... some day.
#appstore
To all guitarists here: I recently started testing ToneX by IK Multimedia and it's pretty damn great. The interface is shit but the amps sound incredible. It's currently on sale together with Amplitube 5 and the price is a no-brainer: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?id=MAXGuitarBlackFriday2023
You basically get a Kemper/Quad Cortext in the form of two apps for 129 €.
Oh and one other important observation from the #AppleEvent:
Even with the new custom M3, the new iMacs don’t seem to support „Target Display Mode“. That means, when the computer is outdated, you can’t continue to use it as a screen.
So much for sustainability. I expected way more from Apple.
I'm doing a new blog thing where I get something from Dribbble/Layers > re-create in Figma as something actually realistic > build it out with HTML and CSS.
Anyone know of a good (mac) replacement for TextExpander? I've been using the last version where you paid for the app (rather than a subscription) and lately it keeps getting stuck in an 100% CPU loop (no idea why).
I'd imagine by now there were some decent competitors.
