We have a series of lectures going to kick off the season, and our Slack instance is humming along nicely with discussion about one recent topic: Toxic masculinity and how it gets people killed in aviation.

@raganwald oh sorry, I didn’t mean to compare the two. I posted mine before you mentioned the other one. I just remember the 747 issue in part being the captain claiming he knew best and the second in command being so much his junior he didn’t dare speak up and as you say has since been structurally addressed.

I recently discovered Grip, Inc and my current hyperfocus is their track Hostage to Heaven off their first album. It is ridiculously good. (Heads up, heavy and fast music).

This example is just guitar and drums, but that’s all it really needs imo.
