Hmm… dropped my papa at a train station today on the way back stopped at a local'ish cheesemonger where I picked up some wild garlic yarg, a bottle of damson wine, and (the important bit given the post I am replying to) a jar of damson jam - I know what will be on my toast when Saturday morning reaches Blighty 🙂

Yarg (to my knowledge) comes in two varieties, one wrapped in wild garlic leaves, and another wrapped in nettle leaves. The garlic variety is my prefered variety and I will be endeavouring to enjoy come suppertime 🙂

Living somewhere where (at least for personal banking) free banking is the norm (and premium accounts normally charging a fixed fee) charges for such basic services seem somewhat shocking

If you are ever curious as to how (IMHO) British people should speak (as opposed to how they actually speak) see if you can find any recordings of a retired Cricket commentator by the name of Henry Blofeld (Blowers) on YouTube etc (if you are a Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy fan he does make a brief appearance in the Tertiary Phase).

Before you ask the name of the James Bond villain was reputedly inspired by Henry Blofeld's father whom Ian Fleming went to school with.

Wow, ultra outrageous ....I just read that a lady got shot in southern California because she had a LGBTQI flag out the front of her shop and she was an ally ... 6 kids and husband have no mother and wife ... hugz for them

The national Jury vote preferred Loreen, the Televote of the general public came up some different results. The Jury and the Televote each make up half the vote. As I understand it each nations jury is supposed to be made up of music industry professionals and they make their decision based on the performances in the dress rehearsal. Hope that helps.
