(u can limit charging to 500mA if u want tho. it's software controlled. there's a setting for it. for the real battery health nerds out there)

EMC place wants a couple of units where "Screen is on and displays some kind of repetitive graphic, does not turn off"

reckon this'll do? (it also plays a sine wave forever)

it's a tangara! on the screen it says "It's sine time!!!" and has a count of how long it's been playing for also, 8 tiled, rotating images of my cat making a silly face with love hearts around him

@trisweb right now i think we try to play them (with a wired output, anyway), but i don't have a lot of confidence that they play smoothly. we already have resampling implemented, so we could try downsampling on-device, but doing it in advance is probably best, yeah.
