Something totally different on this morning's solo trail run: I didn't stop to take any photos! The few I took were while running. Also, comparing watch vs. phone recording times, see if you can guess which is which (answer in ALT).

The phone’s times, it’s using the Strava app set on trailrun. More details in the other Splits photo ALT

Recorded a short video, halfway into the run on one of the cool spines of the trails. Sadly, watching videos afterwards, they never seem close to the speed I thought I was going. ";^)

Apparently I ran fast enough that there wasn't any problem with bugs. That is, until the very end when I inhaled a bug and while trying to hack it out managed to get another one stuck in my eye. Spent 5 minutes at trailhead trying to rinse or nudge it out without any luck. Resolved to have wife remove it when I got home and it fell out as I left parking lot.

Speaking of parking lot, little brave clumps of chamomile doing their best.

There were a whole lot of things I was supposed to do today with both farm things and space junk things. But instead, we got a new livestock guardian puppy.

She's already getting along really well with our other LGD, though all the goat mamas seem pretty convinced she is a small bear and will need some time to come to trust her...
