So, in summation, printing is still an absolute shitshow. Stay away from printers at all costs. Thank you for coming to whatever talk this is.

(The one exception might be my trusty HP 1012 that I've had for years and years always works fine served from my 2007 iMac.)

@Moltz I do enjoy how hassle free AirPrint was supposed to be. Never having to worry about transferring files, and using a cable. Now you just have to worry about an invisible network of magic connections guarded by several trolls that pose riddles.

Maybe we peaked with the StyleWriter II.

    An app keeps opening in my Mac's dock and disappearing immediately, so fast that I can't figure out which one it is. Like, literally by the time my peripheral vision sees it and then goes to the dock, it's gone again. How the heck do I track this one down?
