This page is a hidden gem, it's in German but you will get around. It's a #camera#museum that categorised all its #cameras in a searchable #database.
It's absolutely brilliant (tough obviously not compete) if you are looking for a specific #analog camera, a certain #film format or #objective. Also great for finding an alternative👌
Just a friendly reminder that the Thunderbird Team will be away starting December 22, and coming back January 2. support.mozilla.org is available for community support. Please use bugzilla.mozilla.org for reporting bugs and connect.mozilla.org for sharing your brilliant ideas, and we will check in once we're back in 2024.

I stopped shooting film 8 years ago, mostly due to workflow problems. Finding the time to do high-res scans and deal with the physical film just took away all the joy. I spent more time on admin than shooting!
Are you digitally archiving your film? Do you select the low-res scans from the film developer? Develop your own film? Do you keep the film once digitized? Do you archive it?
@Gargron@Topslakr
Same here, scanning can really be a pain and though it's a bit pricy to get them done, it's still cheaper then investing all the time in doing (and re-doing) it yourself
what are good programs for brainstorm/dumping of ideas, like random text, images, etc for when doing research? something simple, doesn't need to be too fancy. something like Obsidian maybe? any other suggestions?
@djlink
Joplin. Simple to use and Foss. Nice advanced options/add-ons if needed.
If you choose "file system" in the save our sync options (cannot remember) you can sync it easily with your preferred cloud. Or you don't, as you want.
