@Siconi I already an account there and I agree it was quiet. I’m hoping that it will be more active now. I just want something that’s not Meta or Musk owned to make it big.
Sadly, between Facebook and Instagram (and now Threads, I guess), the ZuckerBorg is just too big to fail at this point.
Twitter though, never was that big - it only presented itself as some super-important thing because you had celebrities, journalists, and politicians there. But at its peak, it only had something like 10-15% total internet share. Instagram or Facebook alone utterly stomps Xitter, to say nothing of their combined share.
If BlueSky can start stealing some of those, the Musky One is gonna' be in for even more of a world of hurt keeping the lights on.
So I introduced the two cats and they just stared at each other few a minutes. The new cat is now sitting in the corner of my basement. I even offered some tuna fish as a good will gesture.
@ahermitforhire Yeah I haven’t watched since before COVID but I see what’s happening on here and Reddit. I was actually at a house show the week before the world shut down.
My grandmother has been having some health issues so her cat will be moving in with me soon. My cat has been an only cat with us for 8 years now. Wish me luck.
