@aaaaaa_ They just mean that when players kill you, they can loot all your stuff too. Compared to open PvP in most themepark games. It's a kinder way to say "gankbox." :P
@a4r Yeah, people are pretty grumpy. I went through the forums and most people are either mad because they think $30 for the base price is way too expensive, or they argue the packages are P2W.
@grootheodd This might be the only exception I've ever seen, since the crypto version is apparently still being developed by that other company (and nobody wants it?). There's a bit of hype for the return of the non-crypto version!
@glitchontwitch SOTA is an odd case because the community was/is so tiny. Would say there are some other KS games that didn't go equity CF that are more culty/toxic/abusive, but they are also much bigger.
@ch1m3r4c0mpl3x Every phone app and video program that can map a cat/emoji/horrifying gremlin to your face and do what you do! (My daughter is obsessed with these tools hehe). Still pretty cool that it was pioneered in an MMO first though!
