In the early 2000's the Hall of Presidents opened as a tourist attraction featuring 17 ton concrete recreations of every president up to George W. Bush.

Anyway, that failed after about two years. So here I am standing in an industrial recycling center that let's the public in to view them once a year. These things are fascinating in their decay.

My wife and I don't exchange Christmas gifts, but every year we make an ornament for each other.

This was our fifth wedding anniversary, so I wanted to make something that reflected how humbled I am to be married to such an incredible woman. ;)

Last night I started investigation #flame, which is a game engine built on top of #flutter. I'm REALLY impressed by it. If you already know Dart / Flutter, picking this up is really easy! 🔥

It's not entirely abandoned, but you should check out the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio. Really interesting building.

I've looked at gridfinity and am very tempted. My printer is terrible though.

It's an Ender 3 Pro. At one point or another I have replaced almost every part in it. Not to mention I have it in a work shed, so weather plays a part in my print quality.

I've got it in an enclosure with a heater regulating the temp, but moisture is still a problem.

Yup. I'm quick to curse the printer but the shed is likely the biggest problem. I do all I can to protect my filament from moisture, but it all goes out the window when I actually go to print.
