after using the rotor with VoiceOver today, i have to wonder... do other people have an easier time w/ rotation gestures than I do?? Am I HOLDING IT WRONG???

oh, wow. the rotor thing w/ interactions doesn't seem to have a visual interface for the "actions" thing, which was SO CONFUSING... "did it work? it made a noise…” /me flails @ screen s'more…

@RobW a little bit. just a totally different-feeling abstraction than the keyboard which for some reason wasn't “scary”, at all, and it's throwin' me off. it seems like it should work the same!!

@sanguish @tonyarnold eh, there's nothing on the site that indicates one way or the other, I figure it's just the ""new"" attitude that iOS is the default for new devs, so of COURSE that's the target. It would be nice if a bit of clarifying words could end up on the site, though :) The tool DOES look awesome, I sent a link to @juan :)

    hey users... is there an easy way to show the context menu for a VO-selected item? All google is giving me is to use VO to move the actual mouse pointer, and then literally right-click, but it seems like there should be a keyboard-based way to do so?? (trying to test accessability of the contents of this context menu, but being unable to invoke it is... problematic!)

    According to one of our users, using VO-M it should make a context menu, but it does not... is this something that developers have to directly support?

    @RobW that gets me up to the app menus, I'm trying to open a context menu on an element in my app window... VO+M seems like it should work, but it doesn't.

    @RobW yes, it does. VO + up-arrow moves the context, VO + M puts you into the menu bar, how are you hitting VO+M+arrow without losing your context???

    @RobW aha, that helps a bit, still "just" get the bonk... I think it's to do with it being a customized text field, but I HAVE been able to pull up context menus elsewhere, so still super helpful! thanks :)

    I'm scared of France, Netherlands, and England. The US didn't get much worse. Everyone else has gotten a lot better.

    The "I'm a Fox watcher that can't name 3 players in the US Women's Nation Team" to "I'm now an expert on women's soccer, and make more misogynistic comments about the USWNT than Alexi Lalas" pipeline is always in full effect.
