onelikeandidie,

They couldn’t figure out how to compile for more than 32 bits

onelikeandidie,

I have been using voyager since it was waf and I still don’t know how to do that

onelikeandidie,

Best reply in the thread, thanks for the good explanation

onelikeandidie,

I am running manjaro with a AMD 7900XT GPU, i needed to do a lot of work to get my windows vm to display correctly and it does not perform well in terms of graphics inside the VM. Personally I keep a dual boot with Win11 debloated to run games that require kernel level anticheat. With that said, if you wanna know if it’s a good idea to switch, protondb.com gives you what to expect from your games on Linux!

onelikeandidie,

Is there a diagram that accompanies this image? I would like to know all of the parts that make this furnace work :)

onelikeandidie,

Aww that’s alright I’ll do some Wikipedia supersleuthing, thank you anyways :)

onelikeandidie,

If you can’t find that tab, it could also be because you need to go to steam settings and enable steam play for all titles (which will let you use Proton with any game)

onelikeandidie,

Although it is true that this happens a lot with vr and non vr games, you always have the option to put yourself out of the situation. If you feel unconformable, leave the game. Of course, this advice doesn’t fit every case, when online it always seems like you can’t leave that call or that game cuz people will judge you but that should be less of a priority than your mental health ~

onelikeandidie,

I’ve gone about 15+ times on my own, a lot more just to show friends. I still haven’t bought mine, my thinkpad still works fine which is both good and bad since I really want a frame.work

onelikeandidie,

Holy shit that looks so sick, makes me wanna customise mine too! I checked the git and I don’t entirely understand how to start customising where did you get to understand all this op?

onelikeandidie,

This is what robots would do if they keep trying to learn from humans instead of learning on their own

Maestro, a Linux compatible kernel written in Rust. (blog.lenot.re)

Enter Maestro, a unix-like monolithic kernel that aims to be compatible with Linux in order to ensure wide compatibility. Interestingly, it is written in Rust. It includes Solfége, a boot system and daemon manager, maestro-utils, which is a collection of system utility commands, and blimp, a package manager. According to Luc,...

onelikeandidie,

Never heard of this as well, guess I need to be chronically online or something idk

onelikeandidie,

Thought I wouldn’t find another tm player in here

onelikeandidie,

You know you can use Vencord or BetterDiscord to do this for free right? You just get the magic-upload plugin and you’re good

onelikeandidie,

If you’re on Android, you can use Aliucord with the UITH plugin

onelikeandidie,

Kdenlive is great, I’ve been editing a lot of my videos on there and some shorts on YouTube. It’s got a pretty unappealing UI but one you get to know and figure out where everything is you can get some content out :)

onelikeandidie,

I can actually confirm this a little, when Elden Ring came out, it ran really poorly on Windows so rebooted to my Linux os and was getting a solid 15-25 more fps. It even made one of my friends install Linux just to get the performance boost.
