Working through all 15 keys on the covering the entire fretboard. Really want to improve my visualization skills but it surely gives me a headache keeping track of those scale degrees at the same time 🤯 Getting there though.

Have been putting new strings on my guitar. I usually procrastinate that as long as i can, but today i needed to change them. Glad i did it though, sound improves significantly with a fresh set of strings.

@atarifrosch @calisti Ich weiß nicht ob dass das übliche "wir haben uns einvernehmlich getrennt" Gesabbel einer PR Abteilung ist. Die Reaktion war aber tatsächlich erfrischend prompt. Im Auge behalten werden ich es trotzdem weiterhin.

Damian Coccio - THIS STRANGE LIFE

Ein wirklich außergewöhnliches und sehr schönes Live-Looping-Album für Bass Solo, das mit 5-saitigen Bässen und 4-, 5- und 6-saitigen Bässen ohne Bund aufgenommen wurde. Wunderbarer weicher Sound, besonders die Soli mit bandlosem Bass - ganz großartig.

Thirty years ago in 1994, I responded to a “ player wanted” flyer posted at a local shop. I had never played in a outside of a couple high school groups that never made it out of the garage or basement, but I was surprised to find myself immediately clicking at the audition with songwriter/guitarist Chad Gorn and the first of what would become a comically revolving cast of drummers.

This was taken about a year later. Look at us concentrating on those four chords!

hey fellow players: I need to adjust the intonation, which I've never done before but seems straightforward enough. Any reason not to tackle it?

(and yes, one of these days I'll take it into a shop and have them give it an overall workover, which I haven't done since I bought it. But so far I'm reasonably happy with the action etc but the intonation is definitely off)

Der Freund hat mir den Cobi Opel Manta A geschenkt und ich freue mich schon sehr aufs Zusammenbauen.

Next step ist dann einen Menschen zu finden, der mich mal in seinem A Manta mitnimmt. Oder vielleicht überhaupt mal einen in freier Wildbahn zu sehen. Ist mir auch noch nie gelungen.

Just got a compliment from a recording engineer for the "monstrous, thundering" bass tone on a rock-and-roll recording I did last summer.

I don't know if I have the heart to tell him it's a Bass VI through a tiny guitar amp. Those things really are secret weapons.
