I'm going to do another round up of retro indie games at the end of the month. I've got a big list already, but if you've released a game in the last few weeks, or intend to release one in the next few weeks - let me know.

(Especially interested in games for more obscure platforms)

I’m finally back home for a little bit! First thing off the shelf to play with was my ZX Spectrum 128K clone with 3d printed case. I checked out Janky Joe in Retro Hell by @Sloanysoft with music by @h0ffman. Super fun game and the song is a banger!

A close up of the Spectrum. The case has the telltale stridations of being 3D in printed. It has a reproduction keyboard membrane and metal keyboard cover, complete with rainbow coloring on the corner. There is a divMMC Future plugged into it, which has a matching rainbow pattern.

As I previously tooted, I've made a round-up of retro indie games. The video is currently hidden but if you want to take a sneaky peek, you can do so!

I've tried to cover a range of systems (Atari, NES, GB, Master System, Speccy, C64, BBC Micro, Playdate, Evercade, Vectrex, MS-DOS, C64, VIC20)

Video Editing isn't my forté so hoping I get better as I make more!

@psychicparrot42 the logo at the start and end I did get someone on fiverr to do (though I cut 95% of what they made as they used stuff that might get Namco and Nintendo after me!)

The rest of the titles I made in Keynote (basically PowerPoint for Macs) and exported to video

The pixel icons for the platforms i made in lockdown and find any excuse to use them!

@psychicparrot42 I would have a clue how to do proper video titles but exporting from slideshow software is a good sneaky hack!

I’m working on a new Batocera setup and adding some VIC-20 games. I had a VIC, but don’t remember much. Any recommendations of games that aren’t by Jeff Minter? (I’ve already added those, natch.)

So I got one of these wee doodads. Little emulation handheld. Looks like an old Game Boy, about that size and looking like that aesthetic, but with four main buttons instead of two, plus a pair of analogue sticks.

Analog? Never been clear on whether that's an American/British English thing or whether one is the electrical sense and the other is the kinda metaphorical comparative sense, IDK.
