i just switched from a swashbuckler to a rogue with a swashbuckler archetype in and i am immediately having more fun

im finding more build synergy and absolutely tearing through shit with sneak attack and panache. this is insane lmao

Bon Mot + Feint is a real good setup!

there is no restriction on when you can use Double Slice, but for a Rouge it might not be as strong as you hope, since it only applies precision damage (sneak attack) once on both attacks.

@pixel you can apply Sneak Attack for every attack, but some of them (like Double Slice) specify that it doesn't count for every single hit.

wednesday GM edition

finished this short campaign!
the party defeated the first leviathan in the past and returned the future to how it should have been.

i learned so much in these 10 sessions! like, i think that gbm is a really well designed game system. i just kinda struggled a lot with the episodical structure of it and the phases of play.
but it was good ^^

One of the most under-used features of Mastodon is audio. You can attach audio files to your posts, they can be in MP3, OGG, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A or 3GP formats. They can be any length, as long as the file size is under 40 megabytes (some servers may have even higher limits).

I've attached an example audio file to this post, you should be able to play it on most interfaces and apps.

@feditips it works on Fedilab, but the attachment just looks like a picture and there's no indication that it's a soundfile until you click on it. good to know tho <3

i love ttrpgs!

i love nitty-gritty mechanics like in , where you have exact movement and hit points and conditions and levels of proficiency and all that!

i love emotional stuff like what i'm reading about in , where "getting stabbed in the arm" and "being betrayed by a loved one" is about the same level of bad.

i love when the dice decide directly like in / , where a 10+ is just a success and that's fact!
