What really blew my mind the other day was when I was reading an article about building a GPS receiver and learned there are only about 30ish satellites providing that in all.

It's 2024 and we're still having the "/boot is not big enough" issue on Ubuntu and Ubuntu-adjacent systems? (This probably goes for anything Debian and encrypted)

Why can't they make /boot minimum be 4GB minimum? (asked 2015 me... I'm still waiting for an answer!)

And it's not like I can go into the partitioner after I told it to encrypt and change the size. It's FIXED at a ridiculously-low amount of space as soon as you choose. :o/

Please tell me I missed something or am wrong.

@hywan It took me like at least a month to make the switch to my Moonlander. I kept a normal keyboard on my desk for the first week or so for when I got really stuck.

It was definitely a learning curve.

@kev @keenan This is interesting to read because i've tried and failed constantly to use RSS feed readers and I almost always abandon them. For some reason it's just never stuck.

I always just keep the blogs i enjoy bookmarked and tend to go to a few here and there whenever the urge to go doom scroll on reddit or something hits me.

Glad it seems like I'm not the only one

Sort of looking at maybe upgrading my camera soon and kind of stuck between sticking with MFT or moving to APS-C or full frame.

At some point I'd like to try some astro-photography.

Top 2 were around 55c with no fan.

@kev I always hated offering the option. I always liked to put thought into my color scheme and the last thing I want is to have two when I probably only look at one of them anyway.

You ever buy a Fountain Pen that you just ultimately hate?

I picked up a Platinum Plaisir a couple months back and I'm just over it. I think the nib is scratchy, the ink is always mess, it's hard to fill and it's so picky about inks.

Pretty much ready to clean it out and pull it out of rotation all together.

it's definitely just a me thing but Japanese F nibs are just too fine for me. Maybe I just haven't had a good one though.

Give me a good LAMY or TWSBI M nib any day.
