@masukomi usb 3, but tiny, it’s just usb micro-b but with the 3.0 bits grafted onto it to make it faster.

its a stupid standard and i’m glad usb c replaced it.

@masukomi it’s probably still a USB3 cable, since it has the 3.0 small rectangle added to the micro-B fancy shaped bit.

The USB 3.0 A side (standard USB shape) is backwards compatible by having 5 extra pins in the back of the cable. You can (hopefully) see those 5 pins way in the back of this photo, with the standard 4 pins on the bottom plastic bit.

That’s the secret sauce to 3.0 using the same 2.0 plug, add pins to spots that weren’t normally used.

  1. I hear that Chevy is considering restarting the Camaro brand as an electric SUV.
    I have no problem with the next Camaro being an all electric vehicle but make it a performance EV coup not a glorified station wagon. No it's not going to sell like an SUV but you have other SUVs in your line for that. Why not embrace hot rodding again with new technologies? Make a performance coup with modular upgradable components. #Emaro
