Looks neat. Is this an ArtelW sculpt? What would be cool, if you fancy, is some wood grain painted onto the rifle. I’ve found that it tends to add an eye catching bit of detail.
I haven’t looked into Trench Crusade, but I have really become enamored with Turnip28. Yet one more thing to put on the project list.
Since the Titan project eats up so much of the printer time, I have time to finish up some other projects that I've had sitting around. Here's a set of 3 Crisis Suit proxies that I'm printing for the group's T'au player.
I've been a little quiet lately, but that's because I've been getting this monstrosity prepared for printing. The voices of the Warp have spoken and they demand a vessel. Not just any vessel but a 40k scale Warmaster Iconoclast Titan. Yes, I have gone quite insane.
Does something this large even count as a "miniature" anymore?
Are you doing anything with the misprints? They could make excellent terrain. Or cobble together some kind of Ork gargant with them and traditional methods.
If Discovery or SNW had been the first to recast Kirk, there would have been a revolt, but since Kelvin got us used to the idea people just kind of accept it.
What I liked most about Andor was how it felt perfectly at home in the Star Wars universe while also having its own distinct flavor.
A lot of modern Star Wars media just keeps leaning on references and recycling of old content. To quote RLM, “I saw things I know!” Andor stayed light on direct references and instead tried to have its own new ideas and visual designs that would fit in the universe.
If Hayes can do that with Trek, it will be very welcome.
Took a small break from the Chaos Knights to build and pose this Coldstar Commander for my buddy's T'au Empire army. He offers peace with one hand and destruction with the other. Please don't ask me what it's armed with, I don't think even GW really knows what T'au guns look like.
More progress on the Nurgle Knight Tyrant! I won't finish it completely tonight, but he will be far enough along to attend Tanksgiving tomorrow at the local GW. Still to do: trim on the upper carapace; gun housing stuff; so, so much oozy goo; and hide more Nurglings around the frame!
Last of the Leviathan squads finished up! I tried to get the veterans to a good step between the red and black for the basic guys and the excess of gold that the big characters get.
Had the chance to sit down today to get some progress done on the War Dogs... and 2 hours later I am not sure where the time went but hey, the Executioner is fully assembled and all the base coats are down so that's good right?
