Bought this rubber carrot dog chewie for Max and boy he loves it. He usually destroys his dog toys in seconds but he’s been working on this thing for over an hour now and it’s still in one piece.

It’s made of some kind of rubber/silicone material that is fun to chomp (not too hard) and the crinkle leaves are really well bonded to the interior. He hasn’t been able to pull them out (yet). Gonna leave a ★★★★★ for this thing. 👍 https://a.co/d/j7CFSyQ

@gedeonm just looked if available in the UK. They are :) £26 though, which is quite pricey. Much cheaper in US it seems. Worth it if it lasts well for toy destroyers👍🏼

Update the second on the weird payment issue. I got a second remittance advice email just now, opened my bank app with some trepidation, and there the payment was. Which was quick. Even though it was also six weeks late.

Anyway, I’m glad that’s over. Sincere thanks to everyone here who chipped in with advice and support.

Editing a snippet on a very early portable computer – the SX-64. You might grumble about how much your laptop weighs. This thing made scales gasp with its 10.5kg (~23 pounds) heft.

Increasingly waking up with . Went online for solutions. Breathing exercises. (Don’t do nearly enough.) Get more sleep. (Interrupted by anxiety!) Drink enough water. (I do.) Improve gut health/flora. (NHS has mucked me around for over a decade now re increasingly debilitating gut/allergy conditions. No help whatsoever.)

It’s a lovely morning outside. I just wish my physical self wasn’t blocking my mental self from seeing it. :/ ☀️
