I find the case more slippery in the hand than the actual

Leather cases are just as, if not even more, bland as the phones themselves - black, brown, grey, toupe etc 🤮

If anyone knows of a case, similar to Apple’s leather one, in red (similar to the colour Apple used to do), please let me know!

is fine, but I do miss the leather case. It seems that now do the best leather cases but the colours are horrible.

Any suggestions for something of similar quality, but in better colours - especially red, yellow?

This FineWoven case is so bad, this may be the year I do the unthinkable (for me at least) and go case-less with my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I've had $10 cases from Amazon feel more premium than this. 😬

@viticci I’m still living with mine as it’s fine (no pun intended) and I don’t think it’s as bad as everyone is making it out to be …. But the minute it ends up staining like that or failing in some other way, I’ll probably join the rest of the internet in disliking it.

The leather cases were a solid design, comfy, well-wearing and protective - all the things you need/want, so it’s a shame Apple has gone down this route to make an accessory that so many people feel is inferior.

If you are trying to setup a new iPhone AND Apple Watch, is the right order to transfer connect the Apple Watch to your old iPhone, get that synced and setup and then migrate to your new iPhone? Or migrate the watch after you've migrated the phones?

I'm not sure if it really matters but I couldn’t find any documentation about the preferred order.

UPDATE: I'm hearing that iPhones first is the "best” approach though either will work.

@_Davidsmith set up the new phone first and it will then prompt you to move the watch over automatically.

Does anyone know if I export my password data from 1Password and import to on macOS, does it also take notes and other info added in 1Password, or is it simply login, password, website?

Me: I went to Barcelona for a week, the UK for a few days, and rented a summer cottage for a few days in Finland.

Them: Oh, really? Well what did you do as you don’t seem to have caught the sun?!

Me: I was actively avoiding skin cancer for one!

I find it so weird that people still equate a “good holiday” to how much of your skin you managed to burn. If you’re not brown or red, you must have done NOTHING and had a shit holiday. 🙄

Amazed at how many people I know/follow that have spent the last x number of years slating Meta for its poor privacy, advertising, tracking, involvement in elections, algorithm etc etc etc, but have hopped on Threads the second it launched.

Just wanted to double check, but if you had a monthly or yearly subscription in Apollo and you cancelled it prior to yesterday, did you still properly get the option to decline the refund?

(As an example, if you subscribed in February, and cancelled in June, that would tell it to not renew the subscription, but you'd still have your content until the following February, want to make sure my code covered that properly. It should!)

@christianselig I have t cancelled my subscription, but also haven’t received the ‘decline refund’ screen (just the wallpaper screen multiple times).

Is there a decent reader out there - similar to @NetNewsWire - that allows for muting of keywords at all? And, even better, de-duplication of the same content posted to multiple feeds? Happy to pay for the right app!
