I've had a few new followers and I don't know if I ever did a real #introduction anyways, so I'll renew it here:

I'm Kurt, a mid-late 30s gay guy living in Montana USA married to my husband and partner of over 15 years, I like powerlifting, cooking and baking, gardening and other stuff kind of like that.

I'll post a lot of pictures of myself in the gym, or of my garden, or stuff I cook.

I'm goofy and do not take myself too seriously.

It's hot in my garage gym so I'm wearing skimpy shorts and no shirt. A good look for some deadlifts 🤠

Not so heavy today, it's my "light" non-deload week, my top set will be challenging with 5 reps at 550lbs, just shy of 250kg.

I made another aggressive sandwich today. It's pretty, too! I got the idea when I saw a baguette in a bakery. I'll list full contents in the description, where I have 1500 chars instead of 400.

I'm glad I sometimes get full body ASMR from listening to songs. Apparently it's not common. Anyone else have this super power?

I listened to "Cherry" by a band called Ratatat that I used to listen to a lot back in the early-mid 2000s.

I love this song, and it triggers full body shivers and goosebumps for me. I hope everyone has an enjoyable Friday. Do something nice for yourself today.

Made some big fat UNREASONABLY sized pulled pork sandwiches for dinner tonight. Started yesterday with pork shoulder in the sous vide. made a quick Korean BBQ sauce with hoison, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, gochujang. Made a quick Cole slaw dressing with mayo, Sriracha powder (from Costco, it is so great), sugar, and rice vinegar. Added pickles (the GOAT, grillo's), buns from the grocery store (I wasn't THAT fancy to make my own today).
