@DZGrizzle NPR is weak, to not offend comfortable listeners.
An easy explanation for Christians not liking what Christ taught is that most people are dumb, and there are lots of reasons to join a church other than a desire to follow Christ, and there are also many reasons for Churches to want to keep the pews full.
So teaching folks to follow Christ might be a balancing act.

If you are worried about the 2 babies that died on Oct 7th and not the hundreds (likely more) that have died in Gaza since, it suggests that you value some babies more than others.

They’re all babies. People killing babies are bad people. Hamas are bad people. IDF personnel killing babies are also bad people. Politicians on both sides deciding to have their footsoldiers kill babies are bad fucking people.

That part of this is not complex at all.

Finally (hopefully!) managed to track down most of the things that were causing random dropouts and crackling noises in my setup - if you listen to my streams, you've likely heard some of these on occasion.

Rebuilt my Loopback Audio config, fiddled with Audio MIDI Setup and made some changes there with my aggretate device (drift correction now appears to be working better), replaced some USB cables, etc.

This is getting complicated. I really need to start a log book.

If college students really cared about war-related humanitarian disasters, we’d be seeing protests about Sudan, Syria, Yemen, etc. What we instead see is a hysterical hyper focus on the Jewish state and only the Jewish state. This is one sign of the antisemitic nature of these protests regardless of the message presented at them. These fucks could have protested the end of Roe v Wade but didn’t.

The problem with people being wrong is that it's hard to accept that you're wrong about something, so it's hard to show someone they are wrong.
Posting "the people who do this are wrong" will probably not help them to see their error.
But it feels good, and stupid folks are gonna do stupid things.
