After several tries convinced I'm mistyping it because of the unfamiliar german keyboard layout, I realised that Migration Assistant had "helpfully" changed my input mode to match my previous machine & aaaahhhhh
This transfer is going at like 43 MB/s over peer to peer, and I'm wondering why it's not faster? Both have SSDs and Gb/s wifi.. and the router is in the same room
But actually , seriously, I'm a little worried, I was certain my machine only had a 512 GB disk, but migration assistant is saying just my home folder is 785 GB.. I'm not sure how that's at all possible
I am curious why SocialCG/ActivityPub/MediaUpload requires submitting the full Create object, rather than just requiring a subset of a property's about the media (e.g., every thing except attachment + url properties)
@thisismissem there's a lot of assumptions that the domain provides a sort of namespace. Like, it would be pretty hard to share the webfinger path, or nodeinfo.
Was really impressed by what I saw from Tall Poppy and the resources they provided for keeping moderators and administrators of fediverse servers safe!

@mcollina hey, with undici.stream, if I wanted to resolve the DNS for the URL ahead of time, would I pass in the resolved ip address into the ClientOptions .connect option?
I'm still trying to figure out how to make Undici use a pre-resolved DNS (which I've verified isn't an internal IP Address)
