Since everyone is doing this, here is my Google Scholar wordcloud. Pretty spot on, but slighltly skewed by one collaborator's work 🤣.

You can make yours here: https://shiny.rcg.sfu.ca/u/rdmorin/scholar_googler3/

The most important change in v1.1 was to extract the core functionality for temporal and from MobilityDB into the Engine (MEOS) C library. https://libmeos.org/

Finding Geospatial Accounts on Mastodon

Besides following hashtags, such as , , , and , curating good lists is probably the best way to stay up to date with geospatial developments. To get you started (or to potentially enrich your existing lists), I thought I'd share my and lists with you.

Hi @kimaidou, do you know, does support identify results / popups for raster layers?

I checked out the demos (https://demo.lizmap.com/lizmap/) but couldn't find any with raster example to answer my question.

Thanks.

Hi @felt, I'm trying out your custom basemap option and have run into issues when trying to use the Austrian basemap.at service. I copied the URL over from where it works as expected:

http://mapsneu.wien.gv.at/basemap/geolandbasemap/normal/google3857/{z}/{y}/{x}.png

Do you have any pointers for me?

The toolbox continues to grow.

New in: stop detection and trajectory styling

I’m continuously testing the algorithms integrated so far to see if they work as GIS users would expect and can to ensure that they can be integrated in Processing model seamlessly.

I hope us LinkedIn user will get some monetary value back from those collaborative articles content which will obviously go into training some premium Gen-AI Chatbot to compete with Microsoft/Google/Meta, but be a gazzillion times worse because it's LinkedIn.

Seriously, don't donate your time and expertise, for free, to a for-profit

We could easily spend years talking about all the possible problems with data, but that's not helpful when you have a dataset in front of you here and now. So what are some questions you can ask about quantitative data to figure out whether you can trust it?

@lindamciver very important topic. I also found this article very helpful: https://besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.2041-210X.2009.00001.x

#Trajectools development version now features out-of-the-box Interpolated Line styling for trajectories 🌈

Additionally, we can now clip a trajectory layer by a polygon layer (as well as to an extent)

Looking for a tool to compare time tables and actual realtime GTFS / PT tracks to analyze punctuality. Any pointers? Sounds like something that should already exist.

underdarkGIS,

Today, I tested all four plugins claiming support. None seem to reach the flexibility of the gtfs_functions library. Would be great to wrap it into a processing provider plugin.
