@mkennedy Not sure how complex the HTMX active search demo is, but if it's open sourced and you don't mind, I'd be interested in converting the example to FastAPI - it would be a nice addition to the existing examples in FastHX.

I just dropped fasthx on PyPI: @FastAPI and the right (and easy) way. Supports any templating or server side rendering engine with builtin support. Decorator syntax, correct typing, flexibility, simplicity :)

@thelinuxEXP @protonmail @protonvpn Very good content, thanks! I've had a protonmail account for some time, but it's mostly dormant because replacing my primary email, setting up forwarding, updating registrations feels super inconvenient. But this chat pushed me very close to the tipping point.

@protonmail Thanks! I checked it after the video, it looks very straightforward. It helped push me a little bit towards switching.

One thing that could help a bit is if it was possible to use my old account(s) as well through Proton Mail (the terrible yahoo mail has this feature). This way I could switch more gradually. But I guess this is out of the question.

Is there a file viewer like Files from GNOME that actually sorts in lexicographical order?

This combined w/ no built-in emoji support that works in e.g. Firefox, having to install Tweaks to change font sizes, etc. is making me feel like GNOME is killing me by a thousand papercuts.

@brettcannon You can change it in the top right corner. You can select whether you'd like to sort folders first in Preferences from the hamburger menu, and sort order can be selected by clicking the downward pointing triangle next to the hamburger menu. At least on the latest gnome.

@elementary The plans sound really good. The new Dock design is pretty cool. It's also great to be able to vote on discussions about community feature ideas! Hoping for a Q2 release :) Another "license" in the bag.
